Falanghina is native to the Campania region of Italy where it produces crisp bright white wines that pair with all summer fare. Falanghina thrives in the heat while retaining its aromatics and acidity, making it a great fit for the California Sun. 2023 was one of the coolest and latest vintages we have seen in California in the past decade. Falanghina, already late to harvest, was our last pick of the season and came in on November 1st ! This provided great phenolic ripeness while keeping sugar levels low and maintaining great acidity. We love the saline nature of this wine and the freshness and lift it provides. You will find this wine at our dinner table all summer long
